Welcome to Songadeewin of Keewaydin
Songadeewin of Keewaydin opened its doors on Lake Dunmore, Vermont in 1999, as a camp for girls, age 8-15. Like Keewaydin Dunmore, Songadeewin combines the values of wilderness tripping with a strong in-camp program to offer a safe, nurturing fun-filled environment in which each camper is allowed to develop at her own pace. The program draws on the rich traditions of the earlier Songadeewin camp (1921-1975) and its rich Keewaydin heritage, but is designed to meet the specific needs of girls today.

Wish List of Items for Songadeewin: If you are moving or cleaning out bedrooms as your children grow into the next phase of their lives know that we welcome gently used books and games. There are two types of used clothing that is useful to us. First are things that will be good for plays and skits – fancy dresses, suits or uniforms, dance recital costumes and other grown up clothes. The second are clothes for girls to use on trips: wool sweaters, synthetic long underwear (both tops and bottoms), polyester fleece items, sturdy rain jackets or rain pants, and knit hats. Any of these items can be sent to us throughout the year by contacting Ellen Flight, Songadeewin Director at 802-352-9860
