Making Choices

Ways we encourage girls to try a variety of activities and practice making choices

An achievement system helps foster each girl's desire to develop talents in a variety of activities. The achievement system, called the Coup System, allows each camper to grow at her own pace and have a well-rounded summer. It encourages campers both to try new activities and develop specialized expertise in select areas of the girl's choice.

There are four levels, or coups, in each activity and girls are encouraged to work their way through the different levels. There are progressive goals so that each summer a girl returns she has new challenges and is encouraged to master new skills and activities.
